I will dominate 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
